There are many digital recorders to choose from and almost all of them will work with eScribe

While we recommend professional recorders, other devices like mobile phones, PDA’s, laptop computers, etc. are also capable of recording your voice digitally.

It is important to note that some basic requirements must first be met, when selecting a device.

Universal requirement:
If using a device other than your PC, then you must be able to connect such device to your PC, in order to move audio files.

Recommendation:
In our experience, using a professional device will increase your workflow efficiency. We learned that Olympus digital recorders are the most popular devices amongst medical providers, so we’ve integrated them into eScribe® Plus, eliminating software installation, ftp configuration, file movement/distribution, back up and other time consuming and routine tasks, enabling you to do more with less.
